Mystic Valley Elder Services is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with annual revenue of more than $120 million (FY24). The majority of our funding comes from federal, state, and local government agencies. Some of our programs rely upon funding from private grants, donations, and participant fees.
Mystic Valley Elder Services is committed to transparency and accountability in all our work. We implement financial policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws and are happy to provide the public with information about MVES operations.

Area Plan 2026-2029
Mystic Valley Elder Services, the federally designated Area Agency on Aging for Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Revere, Stoneham, Wakefield, and Winthrop, recently announced our FFY 2026–2029 Area Plan. The public comment period has closed for the draft Plan. The finalized Plan will be posted soon to this page.
Prevention and Detection of Fraud, Waste and Abuse (including Whistleblower Protections)
MVES is required under federal and state law to have policies and procedures to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in federally funded health care programs. We are also required to educate employees about such laws. Please click here to learn more.
