Mystic Valley Elder Services is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with annual revenue of more than $120 million (FY24). The majority of our funding comes from federal, state, and local government agencies. Some of our programs rely upon funding from private grants, donations, and participant fees.

Area Plan 2026-2029

Mystic Valley Elder Services, the federally designated Area Agency on Aging for Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, North Reading, Reading, Revere, Stoneham, Wakefield, and Winthrop, is seeking comments from older adults, family caregivers, and the public. Prevention and Detection of Fraud, Waste and Abuse (including Whistleblower Protections)

MVES is required under federal and state law to have policies and procedures to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in federally funded health care programs. We are also required to educate employees about such laws. Please click here to learn more.
