Hundreds of you joined us for the special benefit performance of I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti on Saturday, June 10th. Because of your generosity, we raised $148,000 for elders without resources!
This funding will help people like James, who at 90-years-old, lives in his own home in Wakefield. This year, after experiencing some health issues and falling behind on his bill-paying, James was at risk of losing the only home he has ever known. With the help of Mystic Valley Elder Services, James received the home care services that he needed, as well as the assistance of one of our Money Management volunteers, to help him get his bills back on track. Today, James is living independently in his own home.
Our annual Stoneham Theatre fundraising event makes these programs and services possible for people like James. We hope you enjoyed yourselves! You can view the event photo album on our Facebook page.
